THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE CANADA HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION AND THE VILLAGES
A common question often asked: What is the relationship between the Canada Hills Community Association (also known as CHCA or master) and the local sub associations or villages?
The Canada Hills Community in whole is made up of approx. 3100 homes (21 sub associations or villages) and 7 commercial properties. Each village having its own name, autonomous rights and thier own set of CC&R (Covenants Conditions and Restrictions) for its members.
The CHCA also has its set of CC&R to be applied and it is responsible for the compliance of these rules by all the villages and their members. Therefore, at time it passes on messages to all its members that are generated from either the village presidents or the board itself. An example of this, is speeding on the common private streets of the association. Another, may be passing on information about the new park and new land use. Since these issues effect all villages and the community at large.
The CHCA is responsible for the maintenance/landscaping of the common areas and private streeets SEE MAP but it also works as an umbrella organization with these local villages addressing general concerns. An example, it can provide monetary assistance to individual villages for new work done on their entrances. The reasoning for this is to provide an uniform and overall good looking appearance to the community.
We hope this clarifies this matter, but if you have any other questions or concerns please contact the Canada Hills Community Association or your local Village board
